I took a romance writing class that coincided with NaNoWriMo in 2022 and wrote my first (pretty bad) 50,000 words during that time. I found a wonderful community of writers including my awesome critique group and haven’t looked back.
Most of my ideas start from a scene that pops into my head. The first scene I thought of in Sugar in the Blood was a scene with a woman, sitting at a bar, irritated that nobody evil enough was coming in and it flowed from there.

All the Disappearing Things and All the Hidden Things both have a few on page steamy scenes, but All the Forgotten Things is the spiciest. My spice is interwoven with the plot - these books are romances after all!
Sugar in the Blood is a slow burn, so it’s not super spicy. There are three (if you include self-love) on page scenes but they are not as spicy as what comes next.

I’m a big fan of cliffhangers in a series, so my books will resolve a big plot point but normally have a cliffhanger on a new mystery/plot point.

Sugar in the Blood: Slow burn, frenemies to lovers, found family, forced proximity, murder mystery.
All the Disappearing Things: Second Chance Romance with a side of he’s just not that into you, found family, reluctant hero, hidden magic, rejected mates, reincarnation, mythical beasts.
All the Forgotten Things: Frenemies to Lovers, the chosen one vibes, only one horse, mythical beasts, forced marriage, and recovered memories.
All the Hidden Things: Games and Trials, recovered memories, reincarnation, mythical creatures, arranged marriage.

Chronicles of Lim does not have trigger warnings but if you believe any need to be added, feel free to let me know.

The main character is Lim, a chef in a backwater bar in a post-apocalyptic world where people are separated into non-magical people (Tals) and magic-capable-but-restricted people (Jinns). Lim is a Jinn. There are two other POVs in All the Disappearing Things, Asra and Sabine. Sabine and Asra are both fae and living in a fae world, Trevesten. Other characters include the members of Asra’s crew: Brigid, Elwin and Solvan, Lim’s friends: Indie, Simon, Audre, and Aiden, and Sabine’s mate, Connery.

Sucrelia (“Sugar”) Writh and Draven Flint are the two main characters. Supporting characters are Matt Diaz (Sugar’s partner), the Dame (Sugar’s former boss), Alaric/CP (the prince of Eddahn) as well as his brother Fenrik, and Maria (the widow of Draven’s former partner).
